I know I've been slacking on our blog here - but I've had my hands full =)

First off, Matt is doing amazing! His has his first follow up appointment yesterday and his doctor was shocked to see so much progress in such a short amount of time! Matt can drive in 10 days (well, 9 days now) and can hardly wait to have some independence back! He has a brace that he must wear while up and about - putting that on is about the only thing he is unable to do on his own. He still has a restriction on how much weight he can lift - like NO Garrett! A big thank you to our friends and family that have kept us in your thoughts and prayers! A HUGE thank you to Lee and Maggie - without their help we would have fallen for sure!!

Garrett - he is next on the surgical list! He is scheduled to have tubes put in his ears on the 18th. A little scary for me to think of my baby going under but he has had such a hard time with those pesky ear infections, hopefully this will make those a thing of the past! In the last month he has cut BOTH his top and bottom molars - no wonder he was a little sassy!

Madison has been busy with her Girl Scout cookie sales! If you are interested in placing an order (or increasing your current order) please contact us no later than Monday, February 15th!

Ah, the Momma =) I have been busy adjusting to our new (temporary) life! Crazy as it is I am blessed to have all the help I have and our house will be back to normal in no time!

Matt's Update

Matt had back surgery on Tuesday and is recovering well. He has tried out the back brace and was up and walking down the hallway today. We are still waiting to see the doctor this morning and I will be sure to update as soon as we hear anything more...
