Madison's First ER Visit
Poor kid fell (while doing something I told her to STOP doing) during our Mackinaw Island trip and interestingly enough the Mackinaw Island Medical Center is CLOSED on Saturday.
Who thought that was a good idea?
Anyways, we bought a scarf and put her arm in a sling with tons of ice until we got home. Then it was straight to the ER (which, by the way, is much nicer than when I would go as a kid. I never had a TV). After a few x-rays and several different people asking her "What happened?" we were told that she had a fractured wrist and they would put it in a splint for now, we'd have to follow up with the specialist Monday.
So, here we are, Tuesday morning with a brand spankin' new, WATERPROOF, hot pink cast!
